Circuit Viu (Cànter): Animal Sociology

The listing places this concert on Friday 25 September 2026 at 22:30, at the Peter Rock Club (Quart, 26). Sociología Animal, the Valencian rap group formed in 2018 and known for their protest lyrics, energetic live shows and several awards won in scene competitions, play as part of Circuit Viu, the programme bringing concerts to 18 venues across the Comunitat Valenciana this autumn —this date is also part of Cànter, the strand of the programme designed to revive live music after the dana of October 2024—. Admission costs €12; the listing does not detail the venue's capacity for this date or whether there are support acts.

Where the Peter Rock Club is

The venue is in El Carmen, the oldest neighbourhood in Valencia, which grew up between the 11th-century Muslim wall and the 14th-century Christian one, and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996. Besides its nightlife, with small venues and terraces open late, its streets bring together urban art and cultural spaces such as the Centre del Carme, a former convent converted into a contemporary culture centre. The street of Quart itself, where the venue is located, takes its name from the Torres de Quart, the gate that closes the medieval wall at its other end.

Getting to know the neighbourhood

The guide to the Barrio del Carmen covers what to see, where to eat and when to visit this area, useful if you want to arrive early before the concert or extend the night afterwards.
