Hombres G formed in Madrid in 1982 and rose to fame with their debut album during the heyday of the movida madrileña, with David Summers as the group's voice and primary songwriter ever since. More than four decades on, the band continues to tour with a repertoire centred on those early records, which remain the most sung-along-to songs at their concerts.

Roig Arena is València's new multipurpose pavilion, in the Quatre Carreres district, next to the site where Valencian basketball was played for decades and close to the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències. Nearby are L'Hemisfèric, the Oceanogràfic and the Museu de les Ciències. The guide for getting around Valencia lists the bus and metro lines that serve the venue.
