"Te llamo cuerpo" Exhibition in València

More plans that weekend
Discover the "Te llamo cuerpo" exhibition at the IVAM in València and reflect on the territory with Irene Grau and Marco Giordano.
The exhibition stays at the IVAM until 24 October, bringing together work by Irene Grau and Marco Giordano around the idea of territory: how a landscape is looked at, how it is measured, what survives of it once it is inside a gallery. Our source does not describe the works individually, so if you are after a particular piece or want to know how many rooms it fills, the museum's own listing is the place to check.
Price, hours and how long it takes
General admission is listed at 5 €. Opening hours, reduced rates and any free-entry days should be confirmed on the IVAM site, which is where they are kept current. As a rough guide, a temporary IVAM show takes about forty unhurried minutes; adding the permanent collection pushes the visit past two hours.
Getting there without a car
Guillem de Castro 118, on the ring road that follows the line of the demolished medieval wall. It is roughly fifteen minutes on foot from the town hall square, and several EMT bus routes run along the same avenue. Parking here is among the worst in the city, so if you are driving, read where to park in València first. General museum information is on our IVAM page.
What is around it
You are on the edge of the Carme quarter. The Centre del Carme is two streets away and usually free to enter, and the Torres de Quart stand almost opposite. Walking down Carrer Quart brings you to the Botanical Garden, which is where people end up once the midday heat sets in.
