Festival of Traditional Music and Dance
Traditional music and dance are a universal language that unites cultures and generations. Nave 3 Ribes hosts a new edition of this gathering organized by the Association.
On Sunday 13 September 2026, the Parc Central in Valencia hosts a new Festival of traditional music and dance in its Nave 3 Ribes, organised by the Asociación Cultural Tío Vaina together with the Grupo de Danzas Xafarnat de Paterna. The event begins at 19:00 h at the venue on calle Filipinas, within the park itself.
What to expect
The programme centres on popular folklore as a meeting point between generations and cultures: live music, singing and traditional dance choreography performed by the participating groups. It's designed as an open event for any local resident or visitor, with no prior dance experience needed to attend as an audience member.
How to get there
Nave 3 Ribes is located within Parc Central, the large urban park built on the city's former railway lands, with access from several bus lines and a short distance from Joaquín Sorolla station. To round out your Sunday with other activities around the city, this guide to weekend plans brings together alternatives, and this other one on how to get around Valencia covers the public transport options.
