Why Alboraya

Alboraya is the market-garden area that gives its name to the chufa, the tuber used to make Valencian horchata, and the festival revives that link right down to its name. By day you can visit l'Horta i els camps de xufa d'Alboraia, the fields surrounding the town, and come back at night for the concert; or extend the visit by exploring the rest of Alboraya, a stone's throw from València.

Before or after the concert

While passing through the town, the classic stop remains Horchatería Daniel, one of the area's historic horchata shops and a good spot for an afternoon snack before the music starts up on Calle Fusters that night.
