What is the Valencia half marathon route?

The course is urban and on asphalt, is certified by AIMS and the RFEA, and has a marker at every kilometre point. The start and finish are on Avinguda dels Tarongers, in the area of the Universitat Politècnica and Universitat de València faculties. The organiser publishes the course map and the route on Google Maps, with access to the start boxes, car parks, toilets and aid stations; for traffic closures, it is recommended to check the City Council's mobility website on the Wednesday before the race.

What time do the different waves start?

The race starts in waves, according to each runner's proven time, at 08:25, 08:30, 08:35, 08:48, 09:01, 09:14 and 09:27. Each participant receives their wave by email and has it printed on the bib, and the official time limit to finish is 2 hours and 45 minutes from crossing the start line.

Where and when do you collect your bib?

The bib, the race bag and the wristband for access to the start are collected at Expo 21K Feria Valencia, on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October, from 09:00 to 21:00; no bibs or race bags are handed out on Sunday. Metro line 2 stops at Carolines/Fira, about 600 m from the venue, and La Placeta at the Expo hosts talks that are free and open to everyone, runner or not.

How do you register for the Valencia half marathon 2026?

Registration for 2026 was organised with a ballot; the waiting list is made up of runners who were not lucky in the draw and no longer accepts new registrations. Those runners can get a bib for €100 (plus a day licence) as places are freed by withdrawals.
