No Color!
Add to calendar
At the IVAM Centre Julio González, No Color! Bodies of light and color in the museum is a danced stroll, an opportunity to appreciate what is seen in a museum, but also what is not seen. We can play with the creative possibilities of light, shadow and colour, enjoying the tricks of perception and the symbiosis of our bodies with the works of art.
The IVAM Centre Julio González is running the family workshop «No hi ha color» ("No Color") on 26 September 2026 at 17:30. The activity is a danced walk through the museum's galleries: children and adults explore together how light, shadow and colour transform the way the works on display are perceived, playing with those elements through their own body movement and by observing the pieces together. The activity is organised by the museum itself as part of its educational programming aimed at families.
The museum
The IVAM is on Calle Guillem de Castro, 118, alongside the line of the city's former walls. It is the city's leading museum of modern and contemporary art, with a permanent collection focused on 20th-century art. What isn't confirmed
The listing does not state the price of admission to the workshop, or whether prior sign-up is required, or whether there is a limit on the number of places per session. It also does not clarify whether this late-September activity repeats on other dates through December, a period that is indeed reflected in the event's listing, nor from what age it is intended nor roughly how long the session lasts. Before attending, it's worth confirming all of these points directly with the museum.
