Yerai Cortés – Popular

Guitarist Yerai Cortés presents his second album, «Popular», at Palau de les Arts on 27 November 2026 at 19:30, as part of the «Les Arts és Flamenco» series. Born in Alicante in 1995 and trained in flamenco from childhood, Cortés featured in 2024 in the documentary «La guitarra flamenca de Yerai Cortés», which won two Goya awards. The Les Arts concert combines verdiales, zambras, farrucas, tarantas and rumbas, a journey through several classic flamenco palos that showcases the guitarist's range of styles.

Tickets and seat availability can be consulted on the Les Arts official website. Palau de les Arts, designed by architect Santiago Calatrava and opened in 2005, forms part of the Ciutat de les Arts i de les Ciències, built on the former course of the Turia river and the city's regular home for opera season; its programming also includes, like this flamenco-dedicated series, concerts away from opera repertoire.

The venue is next to the Oceanogràfic and the Museu de les Ciències. The guide qué hacer en Valencia reviews other activities around the city to complement your visit, and the one on cómo moverse por Valencia explains how to reach the complex without a car.
